What is the Patriot Circle?

The Patriot Circle is a pan-partisan grassroots organization of the American People with both social and political aims; a vehicle in which to organize a critical mass of Americans to deliver successful campaigns for the causes that we, together, define on the basis of our common interests.

Mission:

To restore to these United States of America a Constitutional Republic of the People, by the People, and for the People; prosperous, powerful, and peaceful, with liberty and justice for all.

Using models proven successful, we intend to unwind the acts of treason that have enslaved us to the money powers, fed corporate greed and special interest agendas, and created an abusive control system that uses deceit, terror and intimidation to compel our cooperation.

We face a systemic crisis created by the abuses of influence (money) on our political institutions and elected representatives that have turned our once-proud and prosperous democracy into a corrupt and decaying plutocracy - a government by and for the wealthy.

This has happened through party politics that divide us to rule. We have been sold on the ideas of the politics of special interest and divided against each other. Every time we support "our" party we support their interests and weaken our own.

We must stop playing this losing game and learn a new politics of common interest that is cooperative, collaborative, and unifying.

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”  --Albert Einstein.

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.”  --Unknown genius.

We deserve to live by an innocent reading of the Charters of Freedom, by the story that proclaims us one Nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

So we set ourselves a new and different course, one based on healing the divides within us and between us that we may act together to preserve our nation and its once-beautiful dreams.

Guided by a set of Operating Principles, we shall do this by a systemic cure using simple, honest and legal means according to a comprehensive 3-Level strategy

In Level 1 we shall:

1.  Recognize, in the Consensus Council process, that we share a core set of values, needs and wants and that if we act in unity we can restore and secure them in our political and social institutions;

2.  Sign the Patriot Pact, committing ourselves to stand in this together, affirming and demonstrating our resolve and numbers to each other and the world;

3.  Grow a corps of activist members trained in consensus building, consensus-paradigm leadership and nonviolent resistance actions who model and mentor the deep individual change that will lead to broad social transformation;

4.  Build independent political structures from the grassroots level up, from local, to state, to national, parallel to and interfacing actively with the corresponding level of seated government to offset and quash the special interest lobby and promote the common interest agenda;

5.  Gather a coalition of patriotic groups, congregations and organizations under the Patriot Circle umbrella to speak in league to our government; and

6.  Elect candidates loyal to the People and our common-interest consensus agenda, remaking America in the image of our ideals as the Constitutional Republic we have been told is ours.

Assumptions:

1.  The “United States of America”, "United States" or "US" is one Nation (indivisible) under a legally-constituted, "constitutional" federal government having authority over us, its citizens, by our consent.

2.  Such government, under it's legislative, executive and judicial branches has the authority to make and pass laws, administer such laws, and adjudicate under a (legal) legal code.

3.  Our problems, such as institutionalized corruption, the special interest lobby and money in politics, the abdication of legislative duty by Congress and delegation of its authorities to federal agencies, the revolving door between private and public sector positions, allocation of priorities and resources according to private rather than public interests,  illegal foreign influence, etc., are overt, superficially visible and accessible to redress through conventional channels such as election of the right individuals to government; we confront them frontally and at the level of the manifestations.

4.  To take control of government under the current legal and political structures we can use conventional electoral processes to seat representatives loyal to our common-interest agenda; we can then demand representation of our common values, necessities and rights according to an innocent reading of the Constitution and our prevailing national myths and traditions.

Objectives:

  1. Orient from competitive partisanship to common interest;
  2. Unify across the political spectrum in common purpose and action;
  3. Run single- or selective-issue campaigns instructed by the priorities emerging as referenda (national or by congressional district) from the Consensus Council data;
  4. Cooperatively elect loyal representatives who will:
    1. Restore congressional purview and authority;
    2. Reign in the Supreme Court and correct its oversteps
    3. Institute a public financial system and abolish the Federal Reserve system
    4. Remove money from politics;
    5. Abolish unconstitutional legislation;
    6. Restore integrity to the public media;
    7. Deconstruct the repressive control system; and
    8. Purge foreign enemies

Organization

The Patriot Circle is both a public membership organization open to all Americans and a private legal body which holds they keys to the organization’s assets and publications.  It employs the best features and practices of traditional structural hierarchy to create efficient and orderly operation, accountability, and legal protection; and organic self-organization, social networking and relational “learning community” interfaces to promote inclusion, contribution, ownership, personal and organizational growth, and the appropriate utilization of beneficial technology.

In order to comply with US federal law, the Patriot Circle operates as two separate legal affiliates:  PatriotCircle.org Civic Action, (which we are registering as) a 501(c)(4) organization with primary focus on nonpartisan education and advocacy on issues important to the citizen and the nation; and PatriotCircle.org Political Action, (which we are registering as) a federal political committee which primarily helps members elect candidates pledged to our common-interest agenda through a variety of activities aimed at influencing the outcome of elections.  (Until such registrations are complete, Patriot Circle, LLC owns the rights on all Patriot Circle materials and trademark on Patriot Circle™, PatriotCircle.org™, Consensus Council™, and Patriot Pact™.

The Inner Circle

The Founders felt it imperative to preserve control of the Patriot Circle organizational structure and intellectual property to a select few charged with protecting it from infiltration, subversion, corruption or other forms of attack by those threatened by our mission and successful action.

The Inner Circle, a closed, self-appointing twelve-seat executive board, has the powers, duties, and responsibilities delegated to it in the bylaws to:

  1. Safeguard the integrity of the Patriot Circle and defend it from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
  2. Uphold operating principles, mission, structural form, and other features and functions vital to congruently achieving its central goals.
  3. Establish policy, specific goals, strategy and tactics.
  4. Regularly reevaluate such policy, goals, strategies and tactics as may not be optimally effective or congruent.
  5. Administer funds, fundraising and all matters financial.
  6. Administer intellectual property and other assets such as data, public materials, etc.
  7. Publish materials of the organization.
  8. Delegate to committees or individuals those functions and authorities that exceed its capacities or resources.
  9. Hire and release staff.
